Fresh sea air

Spring has at last arrived, the best season of the year. First rays of warm sun, cherry blossoms bloom and the kids can play in the garden again after a winter of being cooped up in the house!

So we decided to take the kids to Skegness seaside on the East coast of England. Its a nice beach as it has sand unlike many that have stones and pebbles in the south. It was Rico's first time at the sea and boy did he enjoy it but truth be told the water was cold and he got shivery after a few minutes, well it is England and not yet summer so it's to be excepted.

Here are some pics we took of our day beside the seaside...

Never misses an opportunity to get behind the wheel

fish and chips avec mushy peas was soo good.

Argentinian Steakhouse Gaucho

On Monday I took sick with what felt like  a never ending flu, back giving me jip but its my best pals birthday this weekend so I gotta suck it up. Thankfully by the Saturday my symptoms were muted enough to go and have a great time on the town.

We stayed in a lovely house in Bayswater on Craven hill in a luxury large ensuite room

I wore
River  Island boots get here
New Look suedette waterfall jacket get here
Silver triple gem spike necklace get here
River island purse get here
black top from tk maxx
and joggers from Matalan

We were both starving so we chose to go to a steakhouse. We made reservations at Gaucho on Charlotte Street, an authentic argentinian steakhouse where the beef comes from Argentina and is fed on rich Pampas.

Cocktails in the bar waiting to be seated.

SAN LUCAS
Cinnamon infused rum, fresh lime and sugar. Topped with Fever-Tree bitter lemon, garnished with fresh mint and served in a tankard glass. An Argentine version of the classic Cuban Mojito

This has to have been the best steak I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The waiter came with a selection board of the variety of cuts that was on offer and explained how best each one should be done. I chose a trio of medallions medium,  and Jo chose salt baked corn fed chicken. We had the most crispy and sweet, sweet potato chips along with Humita Salteña which is roasted pumpkin and sweetcorn served in a corn husk.

 See menu Here.
We had sat next to a group of young guys who along with flirty banter bought us a £92 bottle of Veuve Cliquot Rosé Champagne.
Thanks guys!

At this point everything was WAVY

Can you tell, She's camera shy.
