Keep warm the chill is here

Half term week and Im stuck in the house pretty much immobile due to severe back pain caused by muscle spasms.  So I'm all drugged up on co codamol and diclofenac which is barely touching the pain. Thank God I have an older son that can help with the cooking and my boisterous toddler who's about to enter the terrible 2's phase. I had planned to be out with them most of the holidays swimming, bowling and all that fun stuff. But now we are all stuck indoors, trying to keep warm whilst saving energy. Well with the rising cost of gas more and more people will be going into debt just to keep themselves and their kids warm, so heres my finds to keep warm and cosy at home when the mercury drops.

accessorise lurex cable knit teal slipper booties £19

river island brown faux fur lined booties £16

or splurge with a pair of cosy sheepskin lined Uggs which are too good to just be worn in doors for £80

Topshop stag hot water bottle £12

Ivory knitted hot water bottle from Habitat £18

Pure Cashmere hot water bottle from Cash ca blue @Liberty £75

Ted Baker satin chandelier design Kimono  £45 and chemise to match

This would make a great present for a winter Birthday or if your an early christmas shopper

contains robe, frosted cranberry body wash, body lotion and foot soak crystals.

If like me you have leather chairs in your lounge you'd know it's no fun to sit on leather chairs in the winter. What you need is a nice soft sheepskin rug to throw over the seat. Or a cosy cotton or wool throw to wrap around you whilst sipping a cup of Rooibos tea. Just looking at these natural materials  make me feel warm and cosy inside.

The rug pictured above is from thewhitecompany and costs £380

This super thick xxl rug from snug rugs Ltd for £54.95 obviously being a rug you can put it on the floor and stop heat from being lost through your floorboards.

This is a perfect size for the average couch

Keep warm out there xx
